Initial Assessment | $250

An initial assessment is essential in allowing us to properly identify your child’s strengths and areas of difficulty with communication.  It is from this deep understanding of your child’s skills that we can set appropriate goals.  Jumping straight to therapy without this initial assessment can lead to slower progress as we simply don’t have all of the information needed.  The length of the initial session will be about 60 minutes.  

Please note that assessment can require more than one session, depending on how many areas of communication require investigating.  Subsequent sessions will be billed at the cost of a regular therapy session.  Our assessment fees are higher than our therapy, which cater for the time taken for the cost preparation, scoring and interpretation of results. 

**If your child was previously evaluated from a speech language pathologist in the past 6 months and you are able to provide the report, then an initial assessment may not be needed **

60 minutes | $100

Individual therapy will be conducted in 60 minute sessions, 45-50 minutes with your child and the clinician and 10-15 minutes for parent education, home program and documentation. 

30 minutes | $60

Individual therapy will be conducted in 30 minute sessions, 20-25 minutes with your child and the clinician and 5-10 minutes for parent education, home program and documentation.

Virtual speech and language therapy services are available for clients in the state of Wisconsin.  This option provides opportunities to incorporate play and parent coaching within your home. Sessions are provided using Google Meet.  Using a desktop computer or laptop in a quiet, distraction free environment is highly recommended for best results.

Report Writing | $100/hour

Reports vary in length depending on their purpose, and how much information needs to be recorded.  Our report writing fees reflect the time it takes to write the report.  We strongly encourage parents to seek a report after their child’s initial assessment, as we cannot provide one down the track (the results may no longer be an accurate representation of the child’s skills at the time).  Schools and day care settings often find these reports to be very informative for making adjustments to learning tasks, and allocating the right supports and resources. 

However, we can provide progress and review reports at any time, following this fee structure.

0-15 minutes | $0

16-20 minutes | $33

21-25 minutes | $42

Travel to the service location (home, school, daycare, community setting) is charged at the equivalent of $100 per hour, for a maximum of 25 minutes.  Only one-way travel is charged, as we try to group our clients in similar locations together to reduce the cost of travel for you.
